Our editorial standard is straightforward: explain the bingo question the reader came to answer, support factual claims and make the limits of the information clear.

Editorial responsibility

Robyn Van Zyl is the named editor of onlinebingousa.com and the contact for corrections. The editor byline identifies responsibility for the information. It does not mean that every game or service mentioned has been played, purchased or tested by the editor.

Keep the subject specific

A page about bingo patterns should explain patterns. A page about a ticket format should explain its layout, winning conditions and relevant variations. We aim to use concrete examples rather than repeating general promotional wording across different subjects.

We distinguish general game conventions from a particular room’s rules. Card layouts, calling speeds, prize divisions and claiming procedures can vary. When a rule depends on a specific version, that qualification should appear with the explanation.

Sources and evidence

For game mechanics, useful primary sources include the game’s instructions, published room rules and the relevant provider’s documentation. For a service-specific claim, we look for the operator’s current information. A public regulator’s records are the appropriate starting point for an authorization claim; an affiliate listing or a logo is not equivalent evidence.

U.S. legal and eligibility information needs a location and a product context. We should not present one state’s rules as a nationwide rule. General information on this website is not individualized legal advice. Where information is uncertain, unavailable or conflicting, the wording should reflect that uncertainty rather than fill the gap with an assumption.

Comparisons and commercial information

Any comparison should make clear what is being compared and why those features matter. We should not invent customer ratings, claim an exhaustive market survey or call a result independently tested without evidence. Examples and calculations should state the assumptions that affect the result.

Commercial arrangements may affect inclusion and placement. A commission does not establish a service’s suitability, the availability of bingo or the eligibility of a particular reader. Our affiliate disclosure explains the funding model. Commercial content should still distinguish an offer’s headline from important qualifying conditions.

Corrections

To request a correction, email [email protected] with the page address, the wording in question and a relevant source if available. We assess the specific point, compare it with the evidence and correct confirmed errors. A complaint about a third-party account should go to that service; an error in our description should come to us.

A substantive correction should be explained on the affected page where the change would matter to a reader’s understanding. Minor spelling or formatting fixes do not normally require a separate correction notice. We do not promise a fixed response deadline for every enquiry.

Updates and publication dates

A page’s updated date records an edit to that page. It is not a promise that every external offer or rule has been rechecked that day. Time-sensitive claims need their own supporting information. Dates should not be changed solely to make unchanged information appear newly researched.

Before relying on a commercial offer, account condition or location restriction, check the service’s current terms. To flag information that has changed, use our contact page.
